Seatbelts. Stop signs. Speed limits. Auto insurance. A driver's license. Any civil law you care to name. Vaccine mandates for children entering schools. City/town ordinances regulating everything from how high your grass can be, to what you can and cannot build on your own property, to when and where you are allowed to park your car. The TSA. OSHA. Do I need to continue?

You always have a right not to comply; you do not have a right to avoid the consequences of that decision.

That's rather harsh. I prefer to look at it as proof that Darwin was right.
