it's not a career - nursing is a way of life - it come before all else. Total and complete dedication; I remember back in the day working at the hospital in CT we had a blizzard - I worked double shifts (which then were 8 hours each) and just went and slept in the nursing school across the street - told them to call me if anything came up. And I didn't mind then....because it was my life.
That's the only way I can explain it. |
