To Carol/TX: the NNA has NO authority in any state as to what a notary can or can not do. They give bad information from time to time, and this is one of them.
You must go by your laws, where your feet are planted at the time of the notarization(s). Almost every state addresses how to fix things though and it is not always what the NNA will state. |
