Grapebed, Just make the decision to do this PT, and get a steady job. That is the way most of us started out. I was a Server, and when the calls came in to match or exceed my waitress income, I took the decision to quit and go full time. Now, for you, my advice is just go full time with something else, and if they call and you can do nights, weekends, or fit around your schedule, that is what you do as a supplement income. There is no decision and "hope they never call" to force you into anything. You are your own keeper.
