Who hired you? I would only agree to that with the approval of the title company. I've been asked that before by a LO and would NEVER do that without getting permission from the company that hired me. Docs almost never go directly to the lender, then almost always get returned to the title co.

I should add that I've been given the OK to do that many times, but there have been situations where the answer was "No". You just want to make sure that everyone is on the same page. Chances are that the arrangement has been pre-approved, but for your own protection, it's always best to get the OK from the horse's mouth, IMO.
