In CA we are allowed to charge 15.00 dollars per notarized signature. When I was doing my taxes all the signings that paid 100.00 had more than 10 notarizations so I was able to not pay SE taxes on those 100.00 because last year was at 10.00 per signature. 99.9 of all my full signings were above 100.00 dollars and for some reason, all the 100.00 dollars were wiping out my SE taxes and nothing was going to my social security. I had a couple of signings that were my record since I started a few years back. I had 2 signings that paid 330.00 each with only 6 notarizations. On this particular 2 signings, I was able to not pay SE taxes at 60.00 dollars per signing. |
