I suppose that's one way of doing it if you really want to go through that exercise each time, and as you say, potentially piss some of them off. I would be careful who I'm doing it with though. You don't really want to piss off the good companies that you regularly do business with, and as for the rest.....just because you get them to agree to a certain fee doesn't necessarily mean that they're going to end up paying you that fee...or anything at all for that matter. In other words, use discretion :-)
