Definitely. In my neck of the woods it's 7 months of LL Bean ultra no-skid sole boots (I have two pairs, one "dress" for signings and one for going out to get wood), jackets, hats, etc. June-October (just had snow tires changed out) are nothing but unpaved dry dusty roads. If anybody wore capris, T-tops, sandals, the bears and elk would look at them as crazzzy. But down the road into civilization (Denver) men actually can be seen wearing ties and women in heels instead of black cowboy/girl hats, well-worn boots and jeans. Totally different demo. Like you said, just depends on your geographical/social area. |
