I've never heard of Triton in Rhode Island, hence never worked for them, and no reason to ever look them up, so far.
The way it works is the title company makes contact with an NSA based on where the client happens to be, but the escrow title company is where the property is located. The LO chooses the title company they will work with. Settlement agent has many choices on how to find a notary, here, #s, cafe, signing agent or ??? google, sd. Hard to know. Point is, whenever a title company calls me, I go for it without hesitation and haven't had to chase my money ever with direct client.
The signing I had yesterday was an escrow agent in LA for an LA property, borrowers were at their second home in Montecito. (They invited me to have coffee with them at Butterfly Beach Four Seasons Hotel next weekend, you bet I will do that).
This is why it is so important to put your best foot forward and make the best impression possible on forums, blogs, social media, as this is the only way a settlement has to make its determination on which NSA to use out of all those listed in a specific zip code. Profiles need to make the best professional impression/sales pitch possible. I don't see a lot of NSAs with the best profile possible. This one simple tool could make all the difference in the world in an agent's decision about who to hire for their valued client's transaction. Who will they select among all the names listed is made in a very short period of time so they can get docs out ASAP. |
