per our Handbook:
"A notary public may only certify copies of powers of attorney under Probate Code section 4307 and his or her notary public journal. (Government Code sections 8205(a)(4), 8205(b)(1), and 8206(e))"
I did not look up NV's notarial laws. That's why I asked earlier if they were allowed to certify docs.
As Doris_CO posted, I don't think what's meant in that website. I think they mean they review docs for completeness prior to stamping with notary seal ... hence, notarizing. I believe they equate notarizing with certifying. I could be mistaken. If so, hopefully they come back and clarify some things.
I keep saying "they" because, as others have mentioned, it appears to me that website is written for a signing service or at least that there are several notaries involved with that entity.
