Yes, I grew up in Ojai. I have many friends there. It is so sad, yet, my friends are wonderful and grateful to be spared. People can't be replaced.
My partner in 20 acres on Chismahoo Trail has his ear to the ground. He lives in La Conchita...he's had two mudslides in 1995 and 2005. We lost his brother in 2005 where 10 were killed under the mud. We have lost family and friends over the years. It's chilling. Pray, pray and pray some more.
