Evacuation orders lifted for Ojai, but Santa Paula/Fillmore still a hot spot, as well as Carpinteria, Summerland & Montecito so far.
Air quality is still horrible, winds have died down.
I'm busy next week, so loans are still being spit out of the pipeline. I expect to see more HELOCS for fire damage remedial work sooner than later.
Our 20-acre equestrian parcel near Carpinteria has been spared. It last burned out up there in 1985 from a control burn in Matilija Canyon. When we bought it in 1987, it had greened up again from the fire. We only lost trees, no structures.
