Starting with your syllabus table of contents, then glossary of mortgage terms, you should be able to impart valuable knowledge to those who need it.
I heard just yesterday that one new notary in Northern California spent over $300 for a loan signing class, and her signings span 3 hours, as she makes the borrowers read word for word the documents she presents to them.
This would make be absolutely bat-$&%^ crazy as a borrower, and wouldn't wish that kind of NSA on any one!
Yesterday my last signing, the client said that title estimated it would take an hour to get through their refi signing. Nope, he looked at his watch. It took only 26 minutes and they were quite satisfied that we got it done in a timely manner!
I feel for the borrowers who have to endure a 3-hour session with an NSA who doesn't know how to pace/conduct a simple signing. Good grief. |
