Go figure. It will make you crazy.

Funny this should come up. I just noticed it in two programs recently--one of them was over the weekend, maybe both. It happened in Scrivener, a program for organizing writing projects (that I have installed on four computers so had to change it in all of them).

Also, my Dragon by Nuance dictation software is another one that likes "signor." Neither of these programs recognize "signers." At least my versions do not. But, just three weeks ago, both of them recognized signer/signers.
