I think I am OK

as far as reporting the income. I reported more than I got 1099's for and I actually entered 1099 info on my tax software for this company because I knew they would send a 1099 (they asked for my EIN). It bugs me that they took so long to send it. Could create a real headache having to refile, etc. not to mention possible unwanted attention from the IRS. Is there somebody i can report them to? is it worth bothering? Another company sent an incorrect 1099 this year (overstated income) but I didn't bother saying anything, just made a note for next year.
