I hope you realize that most of us quote a flat fee (my minimum is $100). You have to know your market & what fee is going to work for you. I see you mentioned figuring for one copy. You do know that we are always expected to provide a paper copy to the borrower, right? Printing costs vary, but I buy remanufactured toner carts & paper by the case at the best price I can find. If I were you, I suggest you set up a fee schedule, not a cost schedule. Have a fee for up to 50 mi. rt, another for 75 mi. rt, etc. I also charge an additional fee for pkgs. that are over 140 pages (each copy, of course). I think you're stuck on figuring costs like you were an employee. |
