Don't forget the myriad other expenses that you incur in this job. There's probably more than this, but these are the ones that popped into my mind.
* Notary stamp/ink * E&O insurance * Any memberships you may incur (NNA, etc) * On-going training expenses or continuing education, if required * Pens (I buy nice ones, apparently so signers will want to keep them) * "Sign here" flags (i try to re-use them and them but they get yucky after a while) * Paper clips * Phone service / data service / internet service * Your notary appointment has a cost and a limited life span * I use a mileage tracking app that has an annual subscription * I subscribe to Evernote to upload scans from my tablet
