| I think I would still contact the AG's office for more information about laws regarding this type of transaction. Back in the mortgage crisis days companies that preyed on homeowners facing foreclosure or who were looking to get out of their adjustable mortgages took advantage of the borrowers desperation and most were scams. The borrowers still lost their homes but they also lost thousands of dollars to these scam artists. |
