I think David's point is, we are not there to police, but to notarize. If the client doesn't feel comfortable or know what he is signing we leave, however it's not for us to judge what is legit or not and talk about District Attorney action, when clearly this is none of our bees wax or we know about any of this as a notary. We are an impartial 3rd party to verify the ID, to ask if he is aware of what he is signing, make sure he is of sound mind and feels comfortable moving forward... This person missed the mark on all levels, she left. That by no means any of this was fraud or trying to pull a fast one. Could be, Yes, could not be, yes.... |
