Many half empty glasses it seems lately and sad
Posted by Luckydog of FL on 12/14/18 10:08amMsg #601191
Everyone who is successful is knocking on doors, registering with companies, going out and getting work each and everyday however it comes and from whoever. Direct, a SS, or GNW.
"Some" make it sound like it's only a select few who do this, and SS's are evil greedy people and complain constantly, and would love to shut all of them down.

"Some" make it seem like the majority of SS's only pay less than $100.00 per closing, and jealous that they make a living offering you a closing and they take a cut of it. It's business... they provide a service just like we do, and they deserve to get a piece of the pie. Get over yourselves and the greediness many of you have. You run your business, you get your fee and don't worry what their cut is. Simple. Just learn how to say no, and then you won't keep getting low ball fees.

If "some" would embrace the fact that work is work from a VARIETY of sources and not just direct, perhaps your glass would be FULL such as mine is, and be happier to have a full day of closings happening and no time to ride the forum as much. Fabricating and/or embellishing stories, bashing fellow NSA's and SS's negatively for those they don't like or overly bragging it up on the "in crowd" gets old. You know there has to be another 50,000 of us out there who fall in the middle who read, yet only the same 50 people post at most.

I LOVE MY SS's and proud to say that!
Have any of you received Christmas cards? Gift cards of appreciation this season? I am not out looking for other jobs to make it happen, but embracing what I do and not constantly crying on here. If you block companies, say no to terrible offers, network, and register with good companies you can make it IF there is work where you live.
None of it works if you have nothing happening in your city.

Central Florida is booming right now in new housing developments, the space coast with expanding cruises, and NASA and the Mars and moon missions, Lake Nona's Medical City is constantly expanding, growing and new theme parks we also a tech city which is going to be another Silicon Valley for the east coast which means more houses and closings, more companies and SS's to get involved with in closings for new construction. Central FL is good, and everyone here should be pretty steady work wise. If you live in a place that is stagnant, interest rates climbing, burnt out areas, you maybe not as fortunate.

Not many here sound like they are "in love" with their careers any longer, and maybe time to look to greener pastures for them. CE herself is working 2 additional jobs to make it happen, and she is the Queen bee AND still has time to be here posting all the time working 3 jobs.

I am off, as I have a full day lined up. Maybe think positive this holiday season.
