Starting July 1, there are 2 choices. Choice 1, use a short form certificate straight out of the law. Choice 2, use whatever wording the notary wants, as long as the certificate spells out everything the notary is required to do to satisfy all the legal requirements, which is a lot longer. Few pre-printed certificates spell out everything that is required.
If were lucky the organization that creates the certificate will make it follow VT requirements, but that usually only happens for the mortgage, not other documents. |
