The only time I've ever initialed anything in a notary certificate is when I've made a mistake (or found one in a pre-printed cert) and made a correction. It's obvious that only one should apply. If you initial every strike-out, you leave an opening for someone else to make changes to it.
I've never received a comment about any of that. The only exception has been with an attorney-prepared doc where they personalized the pronouns, not leaving all three choices with one selected. It was filed and rejected in Scto County. (It was for GNW and I re-did it for free. They did the traveling.) |
