Hit the return key by accident again! Okay, I work for a title company as well as doing signings. So.....the answer is so simple. It's called "idiot-proofing." What is that? you might ask.
Well, some companies, (the ones that put out 8,456 pages of idiotic instructions with pictures, arrows, STOP signs) decided that since (here we go again) notaries who won't buy real printers are printing certain pages that NEED to be printed on legal, on letter size, cutting them off, thereby not signing them, and simply returning them (butchered). They won't even proof read their packages and don't seem to comprehend that you can't cut off documents.
Sadly, these are the same dummies that are wrecking this industry (don't get me started on this again). So, in their innate wisdom, the instructions say print EVERYTHING ON LEGAL and therfore, nothing will be cut off. If we had reliable notaries that actually KNEW what the !#$% they were doing, we would only be printing a few things on legal. Alas, this business is going to the dogs, as evidenced by all of the "questions" that we see in the Forum. I can't even believe them........sigh. |
