I have a Brother HL-L5200DW Dual Tray Printer (Bought a few months ago) and I'm finally getting busy with closings and signings so now I'm using it more than at first. Two weeks ago it started jamming whenever a package had both paper sizes and it was jamming when it would switch to legal. I called Brother and after a lengthy call, they sent me a new printer without the drum, toner or second tray so that I could swap out the printer they thought was defective. This morning it started doing the same thing again. The second tray and the toner/drum are the only thing that wasn't replaced. Any ideas what could be the problem before I call them again?
I had recently replaced the toner cartridge before all this started happening and I bought it from supermediastore.com. Could it be the off brand toner cartridge causing the problem? Seems unlikely, no? It prints fine until it has to draw from the legal tray.
Any advice would be SOOO appreciated. |
