Naturally, things will vary greatly from one region to another, however, this reinforces my long-held belief that the major (but not the only) driver of loan applications (especially refi's) is interest rates.
The most interesting issue for us is likely to be where these lenders go for the closings of applications that get approved. It may be a key indicator of the direction our industry is headed. |
