| There have been tons of posts about printers, so best thing would be to do a search here. Basically, most NSAs divide their preference between Brother and HP. I would rather get bit by a rattlesnake than go Brother, having had Brother fax machine, Brother printers, Brother sewing machine, etc. and they were all junk and high maintenance. (Think I would have learned earlier!) I love HP, never had a problem. Well, much of one. Obviously, you need a laser printer (no inkjets). Many NSAs demand dual legal-letter trays. Others use Page Separator and need only one tray. Many NSAs buy new, others search Craigs List or buy used elsewhere. You'll probably get lots more suggestions in response to your post. However, if you'd like a serious suggestion to start, I'd get the HP Laserjet Pro M118. It's about $100ish at Staples/Office Depot/Amazon Prime, etc. I buy all my cartridges through LD Products, tho I have checked out other sources over the years, but always come back to LD. |
