I've heard of the threat described in the malwarebytes website, but this is the first time I've heard it called juice hacking. The article seemed to say it's only a theoretical problem, not one that anyone has encountered in real life.
The idea of having a "usb condom" was something that popped into my mind the first time I read an article about this (but then, I did a project involving serial busses back in college, and that was quite some time ago). If I didn't have two batteries I can recharge my phone with, I'd be tempted to get one.
