Obama and Dems have been crying for weeks that Trump can "undo" much of what Obama has done (via executive orders). Obama didn't want to go thru congress for many of his pet projects, well, as the old saying goes, you live by the sword you die by the sword (executive orders in this case).
Obama abused his powers and overstepped his constitutional authority several times by using executive orders now he, and his supporters, are upset that the next president can do away with a lot of what he did by using the very same "pen" actions.
Lois Lerner and her cohorts didn't need pardons, she continued to get paid and received a nice retirement for her illegal actions. Personally, I think the order came from the very top but I know the evidence for that has either long been sense lost or destroyed. Joe Biden leaked national security secrets on TV without any consequences, why was it OK under Obama but now might be an issue under Trump? The only difference for some people depends on what party is in charge and for others, there is no difference - wrong is wrong regardless of what party is in charge. |
