If WAPO is a "piece of crap, loaded with nothing but opinion and innuendo", why was Bob Costa, a WAPO reporter, the first reporter Trump called after the AHCA had to be pulled? Followed immediately with a call to a reporter from the "failing" NY Times. Why not call his buddies at Fox News or Breitbart or Infowars first?
WAPO never said that the initiation fee was $400K or that the taxpayers were footing the bill - it reported (as did many others) that the initiation fee doubled from $100K to $200K shortly after the election. I don't know where you're getting your information from.
Regardless of whether or not I ever belonged to a country club, I understand what the phrase "initiation fee" means, as does everyone else including WAPO reporters.
And yes, I have worked in the real world and know how business works. I also know that Obama played golf with several world leaders during his term, but in his first 68 days, he never played golf once. Trump has visited a golf course 13 times in the same span of time - once with a world leader - after promising during his campaign that he wouldn't have time to do that AT ALL because he was going to be too busy working at the White House. Another lie.
