Further, the GOP has a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate for these nominations, so there is little to nothing the Dems can do to obstruct other than to vote against them.
I'm sure the Dems would love to obstruct, but they don't have to - the Senate and POTUS are doing it for them.
And, that is why the Dumb's do not attend the committee meeting! If they can't get out of the committee meetings (no quorum), then they never come up for vote on the Senate floor. Schumer is a lot craftier and disruptive than a lot of people give him credit for. |
