Yeah, except they're not doing that because they don't have to. It's all on the GOP and Trump. The Senate can't vote on a nominee unless there actually IS a nominee. Trump named Calista Gingrich as ambassador to the Vatican before his Europe trip - no paperwork has been filed. Trump named NY Jets owner Woody Johnson as ambassador to Great Britain - no paperwork has been filed. Look at the numbers of jobs to be filled vs the number of people nominated to fiill them. You can't complain that the Dems are obstructing when there's nothing to obstruct. |
