But why would he care what Cohen says if he's done nothing wrong? Why say Cohen is not going to flip? You can't flip on an innocent person.
We've learned today that Trump lied to Comey when he said the Steele dossier couldn't possibly be accurate because he didn't stay overnight in Russia on the dates mentioned in the dossier. Bloomberg News obtained aviation records that show that the plane Trump traveled on to Russia stayed on the ground during that time for three days before returning to the US. Why did he lie, and what is he hiding?
This is the way Trump has always done business in the past - just make stuff up, lie your butt off, repeat the lie as often as you can, and eventually, the rubes will believe it. He's finding out that this policy doesn't translate well to being POTUS - those pesky media folks will dig and dig until they find an answer and expose the lie.
