... don't. She held an event "open to the public" then excluded the press. Her reason for doing so was as flimsy as it gets. She deserves just as much BS meter ringing as the issues that you bring up regarding Trump's actions towards the press. At this point you do appear to be making excuses for anything a Dem does that if a Repub would do you would not agree with. That may not be your intent, but that is how it comes across.
Let's not pretend that this is the first administration to attack the press. Biden actually locked a member of the press in a closet at an event and the Obama administration went after a Fox reporter and even had his parents phones tapped. Trump is wrong in how he deals with the press, imo, I will agree with you on that point. When Obama was going after the press were you just as upset? I seem to recall a few times you and I agreed about his treatment of them then, but I am not sure if every time he did you were willing to call him out on it (you may have been, I just don't recall).
Who is in the WH or who is running for office should not matter, if it is wrong, it is wrong. |
