If Dr. Ford testifies, I think this ends with the Kavanaugh nomination being withdrawn.
Dr. Ford's accusations seem to be credible. She told her therapist about what happened and has passed a polygraph exam. Someone who creates a lie will not demand that the FBI investigate that lie - it makes no sense to do that.
Kavanaugh has denied that he was at that party - but Dr. Ford never identified when or where the incident occurred. How do you deny something when you don't know when and where it happened?
My hope is that Kavanaugh is rejected, and that the Dems take control of both houses of Congress in the midterms - and then there will be payback for Merrick Garland. GOP kept that seat open for a year and refused to even give Garland the courtesy of a meeting; no reason why the Dems can't sit on Kennedy's seat for two years.
