"He railed about how his reputation was ruined, how his family had to fear for their lives, how this had totally destroyed his life"
Sorry - she made allegations with an incomplete memory and no proof; she has been taken at her word that everything she says is gospel truth and everything he says is a lie; She is a victim, but so is he. And did you see this??

Sorry - I do believe something did happen to her back in high school....I'm not convinced it was him. Do I think he was a choir boy? No. But she's no Angel either - a 15 year old going to a gathering at a country club and drinking - wonder how fast the country club's lawyers are scrambling now?? I also think that if she's drinking at 15 years old, I'd say some of her emotional issues pre-dated the event. Sorry, that's my belief...but nobody asked THAT question, did they. As for Judge Kavanaugh, I don't blame him for being upset - I would be too...put yourself in his shoes and think about it. You lead an exemplary life, are at the pinnacle of a major step in your career and this is thrown in your face - these accusations ruin people...and I think he has a right to be outraged.
Any of you guys out there who EVER took a drink in high school or college - be careful...because this could be YOU....36 years after the fact. And the female will be telling the truth - and YOU have to prove it didn't happen...good luck with that. What happened to "innocent until proven guilty". |
