I was a "girlie girl" as my youngest daughter used to call me because I used to get hair done, facials, manicures, eyebrows waxed/plucked and spray tanned on a regular basis. But since I started my business, I stopped cause I couldn't find the time, well, I didn't want to waste my time, nor did I have the luxury of a weekly paycheck, to spend $$ on these little luxuries. And I remember that every time I got a new set of claws, they were guaranteed to pop off, at least one, in a few days as soon as I loaded the laundry into the machine....seriously, like clock work.
Yesterday, I took my graduating beja (beautiful) daughter to the nail salon and got her some new claws, very pretty, and then I figured, wth, got french manicured gel tips, squared, not round (big mistake). I had the nail tech cut them down to where I thought I could type....boy was I off by a mile!
It has taken me a good 25 minutes to type this post (and correct typos which I guess that's a good thing lol) but its a HUGE PITA!
Kudos to the women that are still "girlie girls" and can function typing a simple email or text with a new set of claws!
When we left, we went to Starbucks, and I got us pink concoctions in which a portion of the proceeds go to Lady Gaga's charity, then off home.

I felt pretty good looking at my nails and I actually felt feminine. So, I'm going to make it a habit of pampering myself a little bit more this year, as I like the feeling and believe I deserve it!
