I got tired of having to go every two weeks to get them done - mine didn't cost as much but it just got to be a hassle to HAVE to go.
Went back to natural nails which took quite some time, but I found that once my natural nails were restored (and I spent a bundle for remedies to help that along) - my natural nails do just fine with regular cuticle cleaning and maintenance. I found a lot of "I *have* to get my nails done" was in my head. If your natural nails are clean and not ragged and your cuticles are healthy, for me that was sufficient. ... and a whole lot cheaper.
I did have good luck with Sally Hansen products, NailTek, and 5000mcg biotin... |
