Yes, metric. If you go to Ace Hardware they can assist you with the correct bolt for license plate. The floor shifter is the one on floor with park, reverse, neutral and drive. Notice the plus and minus sign next to drive. If you move it to the left, the display on dash will change to "1" now you are in manual shifting and display whatever gear you are in, 1,2,3,4,5, if you hold onto the knob, it will move forward to upshift or back towards you to downshift. Again you can tell what gear you are in by looking at dash display. Go to an empty shopping center or industrial area and play with shifting. To go back to automatic, slide shifter back to right and dash will display D again. You don't have spare tire. Under floor panel on passenger side, you have an electric air pump and can of fix-a-flat. Try going to auto salvage yard and see if there are any smart cars so you can get a manual or check with Mercedes for one. There are a lot of things the car does, so a manual would be beneficial. We don't have a cover to hide the back and have never had problems. |
