We have had ours since 2010 and have just shy of 75,000 miles. The recall didn't affect us. Hubby said battery should last at least 5 years, so you should be good for a couple more years. Yes, the floor shifter is where you manually shift once you slide it to the left. When shifting up or down, you don't move it a whole lot or force it. You don't have to take your foot off the gas when shifting. Play with it on a vacant street where you can start and stop. Manual shifting gives you a little extra power. The windshield wiper dispenser is in the front. There are two clips to remove the panel. We haven't had any mechanical issues. My husband setvices ours as he was a mechanic, but agree that Mercedes needs to service it over a garage that doesn't know what they are doing. I think you mentioned that you already know about premium gas--it only holds 8 gallons, so it won't break the bank. |
