That's a really good question. I've heard mention of a further inquiry by the House Ethics Committee, which I believe has some authority, but I don't know what. I haven't taken time to research this, but from random bits I've heard, there's at least the possibility of not assigning him to any committees (as was done for Marjorie Taylor Green). I've also heard some mention of House leadership choosing to not seat a member, but I think the chances of that happening are slim and none, especially if Kevin McCarthy manages to get elected Speaker, as he'll need every vote he can get.
Seems to me that this issue is also a great example of how much leadership - and the example leaders set - really matters! A lack of consequences for inappropriate and unethical behavior makes a big difference, too. There will always be those who figure if so-and-so can get away with something, so can they. This guy, however, has taken it to a shameless extreme.
One small hope is that I believe I've also heard mention of investigation by his District's local DA, who probably has jurisdiction. I don't know what the applicable laws would be there (fraud maybe, for starters?) but I hope he gets the book thrown at him. Like Mike said, it's starting to look like there may also have been some significant financial shenanigans that could potentially lead to serious charges. It would likely take some time, but if shown to be true, and if convicted, I'd think even McCarthy would have to go along with an Ethics Committee sanction of some sort.
