You really cannot pass work to each other, it has to be run through your hiring party and they must have you in their system and approve it, and call and send you that confirmation directly. If Jane Doe accepts a closing and passes it to you, or visa versa, you both be in big trouble.
I have had to fix a few of these in my days, and everyone panics as to who this other person is and not the hired notary and a huge breach of private information. Needless to sday, both were fired form that company.
