I just heard yesterday that someone I've met a few times is in the hospital with Covid, on a ventilator and not doing well. He wasn't vaccinated. This is a fairly young guy with very young children. I have no idea what strain he has, but I guess it's too late to worry about that.
So I'm back to taking all the precautions - except for signing outside. If someone currently has covid, I'd just turn it down. I have a signing this evening with someone who just got over it - and I only found that out because I asked. Fortunately, he said he tested negative this morning, but I'll be taking a little extra care... |
