When you turn into a woman and feel a "fetus" move and kick, experience the morning sickness, the hormones, the cravings, then you can talk about it being alive. A fetus is alive when the heartbeats. It doesn't matter if it can be born alive, it's alive and developing and growing. Through the use of ultrasounds, modern science can detect the waves of the baby’s heartbeat as early as three weeks after fertilization. Although the child’s organs have not yet fully formed, soon after this three-week mark the heartbeats between 105 to 122 times per minute. Women are incubators and have a responsibility to prevent pregnancy or take a pill the next day if they have unprotected sex. Nobody should have the right to deny life once it starts including the mother. jmo |
