They were destined to NYC and were given notice there but the weather did not permit them to travel further north. Perhaps when NYC knew they weren't coming, it was up to them to inform DC? It was a decision made on the road, not the original destination, and not planned. I am okay with it actually. You act like they were left out in destitute area miles from civilization barefoot and freezing. How long were they actually staying there with no aid? 30 minutes? No places to go inside...church, restaurant, Walmart... Our school crossing guards are out braving the temps longer than that. I don't see cruelty, but an opportunity for a very small inconvenience. Do you really think they would leave them frozen to death? Wow, you are very soft and easily manipulated by the media and the left. All those migrants need to be disbursed daily and give your state some relief. Not sure why you think the border is under control and people are being treated humanely there, but it's a far cry from reality.
