http://nypost.com/2022/01/11/new-photos-show-disturbing-conditions-at-us-mexico-border-facilities/ The pictures speak for themselves. Let's start having compassion about this and not 100 people on a bus, dropped off and taken care of in less than 30 minutes.
It's the President's and Vice Presidents' role to secure the borders. Sending a clear message to bus them to the source is the only way to get attention when the rest of the tries have failed. Let's put the blame where it belongs at the top, at the source. If they can't figure it out, they just shrug it off and let the locals figure it out, and cry when they come to them for a last resort.
If they were on top of things, no busses would be needed, no suffering would be incurred anywhere. Don't blame the Governors for not calling ahead and making reservations. Their calls are not answered, the problems are not being solved and nobody is coming down to personally address the situation. Until they do, the buses will roll and maybe you will be lucky and they will come to your city so you can welcome them with open arms. IMO, every city in a sanctuary state should welcome migrants and then see what it's like to acclimate them, feed them, get the children in school, speak English and solve the problem on a smaller scale. Why should it be all left at the border and ignored?
Human decency is moving these migrants out, making room for the new ones that keep coming, giving them a fighting chance and alleviating a huge problem that is getting worse each day. If you can't see that with your "not in my backyard" attitude, you are a part of the problem. Complain all you want, the answer starts with Harris and Biden.
Talking is gone, the asking the President and his VP for help doesn't work, they can't even find the time to make trips down there, so they have no choice in what to do with them. The sanctuary states want them, to complain and whine about the treatment, yet take no part in accepting them, just more whining on how unethical they are treated on "a bus". Maybe look at the border and how crammed they are to capacity sleeping on concrete and using cardboard boxes for beds, and your mind may change a bit.
