It's not required. It may have been polite, but it's not a requirement. If the left thought it was so important, and they knew the destination was NYC, why didn't one of them think to follow up when they saw roads were closing? They are homeless wherever they go, with no plans for anyone to meet them and take them in with their family members in NYC. They were taken in and handled in less than 30 minutes, and are on the fast track to staying here vs staying in Texas. I would praise them for keeping families together, where in the past a separation may have taken place. NYC vs Washington DC...what's the big difference? Both claim to be sanctuary cities, they need to be prepared at all times or don't claim to be so hospitable. BTW, The Naval Observatory is also Harris's home while in Washington DC and also is a tourist attraction. It's not like 3 buses pulled up on a residential street and let them off. The left would rather say "her house" when in fact it is part of the Naval Observatory and she is offered the residence on the property, as with other former VP's during their reign as VP. Since there is no other news on what happened after, I guess all are well, thriving, and relocated into the system doing their thing now. |
