Yes, then it's advertising (sponsoring) her business. #2 The sponsorship is the same as advertising, except in public radio they use the term sponsorship instead. It is a tax deduction for advertising, not a charitable contribution. It's a write-off, 100% just like your website or any other form of business advertising you do.
Not sure why you are fixated on this as a donation or charity donation, it's not. Did you read anything I posted? This has nothing to do with your $500.00 dinner or $100.00 dinner. You didn't sponsor anything there, you went to a gala hobnobbing with others at dinner. |
