Just curious on how this was damaged? Did they scan it to you to see what's wrong with it?
Is this a numbered page part of the mortgage, like page 14 of 14 or was this something loose you supplied to their mortgage? If so, another issue is the time stamp on the bottom. All pages must have the same timestamp and date of the same document. That's another trick to look for in fraud, to see if all pages printed or created the same time...if added later, is a red flag. |
