I have been patiently sitting in the bank lobby for the past 20 minutes waiting for the borrower to arrive for his appointment but he did not show up. It took me 30 minutes to travel to and will be taking me another 30 minutes to travel back. I did not complain that the documents were emailed to me last minute and I had to scramble to get here on time. I have also have a sitter at home who I am still obligated to pay $20 upon my return. (Please don't let me get stuck in traffic so I will have to pay more). I know I will not be receiving my full fee but only get a print and travel fee and I will not be getting paid for my time sitting here waiting, trying to keep a smile on my face as I am expected to show a high level of professionalism at all times. It is obvious that not only have I lost money on this appointment but I also lost valuable time with my family.
I am on call all day for you and bend over backwards to try to accommodate everyone.
Yes, this is part of the job and it does happen sometimes but please take this into consideration when you are calling to cut our fees. We are not only representing your company but also the lender as we are a reflection as to the quality service that they are receiving and can't understand why you would put it all at risk.
