I agree, that's a backdate, never,never. however, counting the last 85 DOT's in my current journal, 34 were signed on a date following the document date (on the first page of the DOT) and i don't change the doc date to coincide with the signing date unless i've been instructed to and have the change initialized. my reading here on this board makes me think that some people consider signing docs with dates prior to the signing date is 'backdating', which i do not believe is the case if the signatures are dated the day of the signing.
